Food, Glorious Food

Here is a page dedicated to my journey of food while I cruise the canals.

Update: Summer 2022

I've since learned that the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, London have a daily tour about edible plants in Britain so I'm looking forward to attending that.

Vegan Curry

In this episode, I’ll show you how I make a vegan curry. Apologies for the format as this was one of the first cooking videos I published.

Stinging Nettles

England is an amazing country with so much delicious foods available right on your doorstep. While most people think of this plant as weed, I’m here to show you otherwise. Nettles are considered by some to be a superfood as they are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Wild Garlic

Another one of my favourite foods is wild garlic. Usually found in damp conditions under trees and woodland, it has a wonderful aroma which you can often smell a good distance away and adds a fresh garlic element to any dish you decide to cook.

Wild Garlic and Nettle Soup

In this video, I show you how to combine two of my favourite ingredients to make a lovely soup. Mixed with potatoes, it provides a thoroughly enjoyable and filling meal.
